This was our last chance to save our home It's clear now we have failed the planet But by some universal lottery we have received A transmission, out from the ether We believe it's from a higher benevolent life form We refer to it as the Cosmos Guide Encoded in the message was a blueprint For a machine, a living ship: the Solar Glider But after we finished it I, I got sick I cannot account for the last six months Since my breakdown I have not been able to reconnect My memories are distorted I just can't watch the suffering anymore So I'm taking the Solar Glider I'll forgo this Splintered sphere I'll find it I'll find the Cosmos Guide I know you'll understand
2.
I recall a few hours yonder Blood coming out the TV And as it filled the room I wondered The next time it just might be me But now as I cleave To the hyperdrive shifter Light bending swift I'm an interstellar drifter I know now It won't be me Carve it out Let the stars fill up the wounds inside Carve it out Let the suns dry up the tears we've cried Carve it out Let the moons pull in the wounding tides Carve it out Let the galaxies equip your mind With a coordinate line To the Cosmos Guide
3.
The sound shifts low Into a subatomic hum I can't see the minute hand It feels like the hourglass Is picking up sand And I fear my hands Are moving slowly now To the void That's growing loud
4.
Step through It feels right No, it won't be the same So you can let down the fight And let loose and be free And we'll celebrate the change with a Cryo-release

Solar Glider 04:56
The problem with trying to stay young Is you gotta redefine the breeze When your sail's taut but tattered and torn You gotta utilize the seas But all is irrelevant now Due to the Solar Glider Gone are the bindings of my infancy No more my mind in infirmaries Just shifting in parallax Trying to relax these lucid dreams A cascade of silence In Event Horizons They comfort me Because all is irrelevant now All is irrelevant now Because all is irrelevant now Due to the Solar Glider We, we will not lose ground Until the sun breaks down We'll ride its supple waves Through neon shades of grey Until it fills our veins And we're enraptured by the sound Of a beating newborn heart We will not lose ground
6.
Giant 04:21
Squinting through the glass The stars no longer coming forward I am being pulled in The ultraviolet Is becoming ultra-violent And the Giant is black With distrust Try and compensate The bearing is critical And I hope I'm not too late Please align my mind And carry me to a time Of slightly behind I'm blacking out on the inside The pressure is mounting A transfer of breath To the outside And I'm fading fast Oh, where's the alliance Please accept my reliance And restore the silence To the rivets of this buckling hull Try and compensate The bearing is critical And I hope I'm not too late Please align my mind And carry me to a time Of slightly behind
7.
The last night I entered facedown In a strobed light Sifting through the aggregates In the hopes to find The one that cancels out The strychnine And as swift as an open steed She atrophied And cried into the night Do you feel the detriment The discontent My heart is an open seam So I said take this vial down And let it concentrate Let it calibrate And give you another day
8.
A pulsing pattern speaks Inviting me To a treasure vailed Beyond my keep I never thought I'd have To choose between The soft and the silver gleam The ladders down On the port side You left a trail I assume I'm sorry I won't be there To introduce you But I promise She's lovely and fair Break it to her gently Break it to her gently Break it to her gently Break it to her gently

Horizons 04:13
Inside I say she's gone Why do we chance to regret Our hearts to a vacancy No subtle dreams for me In time I know the rains They will change to a mist Instead of the deluging I tell you I can't wait to breathe So place your mind Above a field of empty space Don't let the absence Pull you down And when you feel a change To even planes of temperament Then you know you've traded If for now, so so long. Let's stay this decay Let's not let your memories betray you Can you in confidence say I'm not a hero delayed Your steps we'll retrace In the arms of an awkward embrace And in silence when the void takes you in Then the heart will replace So should I stay or go How can I betray This heavy toll I'll keep my mistakes In the burning behind Just let the embers multiply And place your mind Above a field of empty space Don't let the absence Pull you down And when you feel a change To even planes of temperament Then you know you've traded If for now, so so long Don't let the absence Pull you down Pull you down Pull you down Don't let the absence Pull you down Pull you down Pull you down Don't let the absence Pull you down Pull you down Pull you down
10.
How do you great life With an awkward embrace How do you see time When you're forward in space The freedom feels fine Because it's all been arranged So little children Don't be afraid I know what's on your mind You got to separate yourself From that same old line I promise you she'll be fine So now pull the ring out to six And the prisms to nine The freedom feels fine Because its all been arranged So little children Let's disengage
